To meditate, you must want to meditate. It can't be done out of duty or mechanically. It can at times be drawn out of you through desperation, but the deepest and most fruitful times of meditation are those born of a sincere love for His Spirit and wanting to be completely engulfed in it to where you are content to let everything else go to find that place of complete rest in Him.I used to take long walks outside until I'd come to a spot where I could comfortably rest. I'd enter the presence of our Husband‚ and it was there that I experienced many beautiful moments with Him, through the simple act of being serious enough to take the time, get away from everything else‚ and let Him do the rest. It was by no means silent, but all that I could hear‚ see, and feel was Him.
